Voltas – India back with Moorthy for Shor Kam Kaam Zyaada campaign

"There are other things that are returning this summer besides the intense heat! In an exciting new campaign, Voltas, the top A.C. brand in India, has brought back the beloved and legendary Moorthy. Moorthy, who captured many hearts with his collected demeanor and clever repartee, has returned to promote Voltas' most recent line of Smart Air conditioners, which include a cutting-edge, IoT-enabled design, an inventive sleep mode, and incredibly quiet operation. In the new campaign, Moorthy maintains his composure in the face of his talkative brother-in-law, emphasizing the clear difference between him and the quiet effectiveness of Voltas air conditioners. The slogan ""Shor Kam, Kaam Zyaada"" effectively conveys the campaign's core message and makes a big deal out of it. The wacky two-commercial campaign, which relies on Moorthy's ageless appeal and Voltas' Smart Air air conditioners, is a pleasure to see. Deba Ghoshal, Vice President & Head of Marketing at Voltas Limited, remarked on the new campaign, saying, ""Yes, he is back! smoothly and silently, much like our newest product line. And more clever, perceptive, and modern this time around. Take a peek at our teasers to see what we have in store for this summer. Customers have always favored Voltas air conditioners, and in the last ten years, Murthy has come to be associated with the brand. Still, ""Bringing back Moorthy felt natural - given that Voltas and Moorthy have always clicked and Moorthy's witty aura left a lasting impression last time around,"" says Ritu Sharda, Chief Creative Office, Ogilvy India (North). With Summers rapidly approaching and Moorthy's talkative brother-in-law prepared to intensify the conversation, the campaign appeared to be an ideal method for initiating conversation."

TVS Motor champions children safety with Protect Little Riders campaign

"As part of the #TVSRide4Safety program, TVS Motor Company (TVSM) announced the launch of its ""Protect Little Riders"" campaign. Through this program, TVSM hopes to remove barriers to young riders' adoption of helmets and raise awareness of the safety of children when riding two-wheelers. In spite of official restrictions, there is a greater prevalence of child riders who do not wear helmets. This action is unusual because parents always put their children first. Consequently, in addition to promoting helmet adoption, the TVSRide4Safety campaign includes the creation of a line of kid-specific helmets. Furthermore, a specific website has been established to furnish parents with crucial details regarding the selection of suitable headgear size for their children's protection when riding two-wheelers. Aniruddha Haldar, Senior VP (Marketing) – Commuters, Corporate Brand & Dealer Transformation, TVS Motor Company, commented on the campaign, saying, ""Children's helmet use is becoming a pressing issue in a nation deeply concerned about its youth. It's a blind spot that has developed over time."" As a result, we are contacting parents to work together, modify behavior, and embrace safety precautions. The simple message of the campaign is still to wear a helmet, make sure your child wears one, and ride safely. To assist in fostering a culture based on responsibility and safety, we cordially encourage you to participate in Protect Little Riders."" A key component of the #Ride4Safety Campaign, Protect Little Riders is a socially conscious effort to raise awareness and encourage constructive community action. This demonstrates TVS Motor Company's dedication to resolving issues with the ecology and making a significant contribution to making the riding environment safer for younger riders. Group CEO of MullenLowe Lintas Group and Chief Strategy Officer for APAC at MullenLowe Global, Subramanyeswar S. (Subbu), discussed the campaign, saying, ""Protect Little Riders is a crusade (and not just another campaign) through which we are putting a spotlight on one of the biggest blind spots on our roads - kids without helmets."" Every day, millions of children in our nation ride two-wheelers without wearing helmets."

Japanese stocks fall on Yen support, yuan rebounds

Japanese stocks declined as the yen rose after the country’s top currency official warned against speculative moves in the foreign-exchange market. The yuan climbed following signs of support from Chinese authorities. Tokyo’s Topix index dropped as much as 1% after recording its biggest weekly gain in two years. South Korea’s equity benchmark also fell while mainland Chinese, Hong Kong and Australian shares inched higher — offering a mixed picture for the region. The offshore yuan rose as the dollar weakened and China’s central bank set a stronger-than-expected daily reference rate. The gap between the yuan’s daily fixing versus estimates was the widest since November, while Bloomberg calculations indicated the People’s Bank of China injected a net 40 billion yuan ($5.56 billion) in open market operations. Chinese Premier Li Qiang had earlier downplayed investor concerns of challenges facing the economy, saying Beijing was stepping up policy support to spur growth and systemic risks are being addressed. “Just saying the risks are not as much as people think is not going to draw investors back,” says Vey-Sern Ling, managing director at Union Bancaire Privee. “China is not just a ‘show me’ story for investors, it’s a ‘show me a lot more than I expect’ story Treasuries were mostly steady following a rally on Friday that wiped seven basis points from the 10-year yield. Australian and New Zealand bond yields ticked lower Monday. Those moves come ahead of a busy week of economic data that will include the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge due Friday. The core personal consumption expenditures index, which excludes food and energy costs, is seen rising 0.3% on the heels of its biggest monthly increase in a year. Inflation readings are also due in Australia, France, Italy and Spain later this week, offering clarity on rising prices as investors begin to position for rate cuts. US equity futures were little changed after a muted end to the week on Wall Street with the S&P 500 declining 0.1% and the Nasdaq index rising by the same margin on Friday. “Tightening usually causes recessions when it triggers financial crises that turn into credit crunches,” said Ed Yardeni, president of his eponymous research firm, said in a Monday note. “That sequence of events is unlikely now,” he said, citing the Fed’s use of emergency liquidity measures to address crises, such as the stress in the US banking system in March last year.

Asian stocks open mixed as US hits fresh highs

Equities in Asia traded mixed Friday in a sign investors are rethinking the optimism that propelled the region’s shares higher in the prior session, as fresh signs of persistent inflation appeared in the US.Shares in Australia were little changed while Japanese stocks nudged higher. Futures contracts for Hong Kong equities declined. The moves followed Thursday’s sharp rally for a gauge of the region’s shares, which touched the highest level in almost two years. Contracts for US stocks rose in early Asian trading after the S&P 500 index rose 0.3% to a fresh high Thursday — its 20th of the year — led by gains in industrials and banks. Reddit Inc. shares soared 48% on their debut. Other tech stocks faltered, with Apple Inc. and Alphabet Inc. falling against the backdrop of heightened regulatory pressure. The US Justice Department and 16 attorneys general are suing the iPhone maker for violating antitrust laws. In Europe, the company is said to be facing probes about whether it’s complying with the region’s Digital Markets Act. Apple shares fell more than 4%, wiping $115 billion in market value. US economic data supported the argument the Fed may be forced to backtrack on its rate reduction forecasts a day after the central bank indicated three 25 basis point cuts in 2024. Housing, manufacturing and labor-market data released Thursday in the US pointed to a resilient economy that could prompt the Federal Reserve to reduce interest rates slower than the market expects. The data pushed Treasuries down. The two-year Treasury yield rose three basis points Thursday, while the 10-year was less than one basis point higher. The upward pressure on yields supported an index of the dollar, which rose 0.4% in its previous session before steadying Friday. The yen inched higher to trade at around 151 per dollar in early Friday trading as Japan’s inflation accelerated to the quickest pace in four months. Markets will keep focused on whether the Bank of Japan might follow its first interest rate hike since 2007 with further raises later this year. Itchy Fingers Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers said the Fed has “itchy fingers to start cutting rates,” which may not be necessary for some time given the strong economy and buoyant financial markets. “I don’t know why we’re in such a hurry,” Summers said. Societe Generale SA increased its S&P 500 year-end forecast to 5,500 from 4,750 — the highest forecast among strategists tracked by Bloomberg. “US exceptionalism is going from strength to strength,” wrote Manish Kabra, head of US equity strategy for the French bank. “Despite widespread market optimism, we view this as rational rather than excessive.” Central banks remained firmly in focus. The Swiss National Bank expectedly cut interest rates, weakening its currency against peers, while Mexico’s central bank also cut rates as expected. The moves could be a prelude to policy easing in the UK, Europe and the US. The Bank of England kept rates at a 16-year high of 5.25% Thursday. Two BOE hawks dropped their demands for hikes in a further sign the central bank is closer to rate cuts. The pound weakened on the news. Ahead in Asia, the Reserve Bank of Australia will release a financial stability review, while Taiwan will publish February jobs data. In commodities, oil held a two-day drop, with traders assessing the outlook for global interest rates and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Elsewhere, Bitcoin trading below $66,000, while gold fell after surging above $2,200 an ounce for the first time.

Stocks in Asia echo US gains on Fed rate signals

Asian equities rallied Thursday after US stocks touched fresh highs as the Federal Reserve indicated it would meet market expectations with three rate cuts this year.Australian, South Korean shares and equity futures for Hong Kong all advanced. Japanese stocks also rose after a Wednesday holiday as the nation’s exports grew for a third consecutive month, offering support for the economy. The S&P 500 index climbed 0.9% to a new high while the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 index, which is more sensitive to policy, rose 1.2%. US futures climbed further in early Asian trading. The Magnificent Seven group of mega-caps powered to new highs. US small-caps, which typically do well when the economy is expanding, rose almost 2% for the best session in more than a month. Australian and New Zealand bonds rallied, echoing a rise in Treasuries. Gains were tilted toward the short end with two-year yields falling eight basis points and the 10-year falling by two basis points. The moves reflected an increase in expectations the Fed may cut as early as June. The dollar extended losses, while Treasuries steadied during Asian trading. Policymakers kept their outlook for three cuts in 2024 and moved toward slowing the pace of reducing their bond holdings, suggesting they aren’t alarmed by a recent uptick in inflation. While Jerome Powell continued to highlight officials would like to see more evidence that prices are coming down, he also said it will be appropriate to start easing “at some point this year.” “Asian markets are likely to see a wave of relief rally as traders gain confidence from a clearer view of the near-term picture,” said Hebe Chen, an analyst at IG Markets in Melbourne. “This enhanced sense of certainty is likely to be particularly appreciated by the Japanese market.” The Bloomberg dollar index extended losses after falling 0.4% Wednesday after the move in Treasuries. The yen pared an intraday loss against the greenback early Thursday after declines in the prior session to trade at around 151 per dollar. The New Zealand dollar also reversed earlier losses as gross domestic product data showed the country unexpectedly fell into a recession in the second half of 2023. Output in the fourth quarter contracted 0.1% to mark its second quarter of negative growth. In corporate news, shares in Micron Technology Inc., the largest US maker of computer memory chips, jumped in late trading on a surprisingly strong revenue forecast. Elsewhere, Tencent Holdings Ltd. plans to raise its stock buyback program to at least $12.8 billion this year. Gold rallied to trade over $2,200 an ounce for the first time following the Fed comments. A lower interest rate environment is typically positive for the precious metal, which doesn’t generate interest. Meanwhile, Bitcoin stemmed a recent decline to advance near $68,000. West Texas Intermediate, the US oil price, rose after a Wednesday drop.

42-year-old Amazon seller whose side hustle brings in $143,000 a month: Use these 3 simple steps to make more money

Woo is a 42-year-old ex-corporate consultant and Montessori school administrative director who lectures at the University of California, Irvine, runs an online emotional intelligence course and freelances as a business consultant. She also has a side hustle called Mind Brain Emotion where creates emotional intelligence-focused card games — 11 of them so far, on topics ranging from relationship skills to job interviews — and sells them on Amazon. The games brought in $1.71 million in revenue last year, or an average of $142,700 per month, according to documents reviewed by CNBC Make It. The side hustle’s success is due, at least partially, to a three-step process Woo followed, she says: Keep testing your idea after you’ve launched it, use the feedback to inform your next project and repeat the cycle.Woo’s first game was meant to help teachers and kids learn the basics of emotional intelligence, so she spent three months testing it in local schools before listing it on Amazon, she says. Once sales started coming in, she kept researching and testing the game — but instead of updating it, she used the feedback to create new versions for different topics and audiences. “Iteration is key,” says Woo. “For those who are risk-averse or perfectionistic, they may worry, ‘What if I make a mistake? What if I become irrelevant?’ Don’t be afraid to reinvent yourself.”Creating iterations of her card game, listing each new version as another product for people to buy, was a familiar pattern for Woo: She has changed careers several times, reinventing herself at each stop along the way. She helped train managers during stints at Deloitte and Cisco. She worked as a personal trainer. She got involved in school administration when her three children became preschool-aged, and ran a party decoration business called PropMama on the side. Mind Brain Emotion came along in 2018, as Woo studied for her master’s degree in education at Harvard University. She changes things up out of both personal and professional necessity, she says — she gets bored, learns something new, then figures out a way to monetize or share it with others.“A lot of these [changes] stem from my own pain,” she says. “I became a fitness trainer because I was training for a marathon ... My kids needed decorations for their parties, and I wanted to have fun designing them.” Woo isn’t the only entrepreneur who preaches reinvention over perfection as a way to develop a business and make more money. Silicon Valley startup accelerator Y Combinator often teaches founders to create “minimum viable products” and release them to the public as quickly as possible, to get real-world feedback from paying consumers, for example. “Done is better than perfect,” Tessa Barton, co-founder and co-CEO of photo editing app Tezza, told Make It in January.“You learn so much [more] by just getting stuff out,” added Barton, whose business brought in $26.5 million in sales last year. “Being on social media, people will just tell you what they like and don’t like. Then, you can improve as you go and let go of the fear of launching something.”

During an interview with Pinkvilla, Rupali Ganguly talked about how difficult it is for her to manage her work and motherhood responsibilities. Lootere trailer Hansal Mehta’s series is a gripping tale of gun, violence and treachery

"The trailer for Hansal Mehta's forthcoming thriller Lootere was released on Wednesday. Hansal runs the show as its showrunner. In the lead parts of Lootere are Rajat Kapoor, Aamir Ali, Vivek Gomber, and Amruta Khanvilkar. Shailesh R. Singh is the producer, while Jai Mehta is the director. The show centers on Rajat Kapoor, who plays a ship captain, and his battle with his criminal past. The trailer provides an exciting look into a world where survival requires navigating a lethal web of crimes, as the character ventures into the twisted world of crime to fulfill a treacherous requirement of securing and smuggling dangerous commodities. ""We've seen several airborne hijack stories, but Lootere stands out for its setting in the sea and its compelling storyline,"" Hansal said in a statement regarding the episode. an enormous canvas, which features a huge ocean, a foreign nation, a terrifying ship, and a gang of menacing pirates. Our goal in producing this show is to tell a tale of power and greed that culminates in a global crisis of hijacking and the crew's desperate attempts to flee. The audience will undoubtedly go on an exciting and emotionally charged journey with this drama.  Additionally, director Jai discussed what viewers should anticipate from Lootere. Our goal in creating Lootere was to bring a fresh perspective and update the classic hijacking genre. As a filmmaker, I understand how our work shapes people's perceptions. It was essential that we provide a complex picture that includes not just the experiences of the victims as well as the human qualities of the Somalian people and pirates. Working with Hansal Sir once more, I'm confident that Lootere will provide audiences worldwide with an amazing cinematic experience, much like Scam 1992 did. I'm excited to welcome viewers to join us on this exciting adventure,"" he continued. The show's main character, Rajat, described becoming a part of Lootere as an experience. It's been quite the ride, both within and outside of Lotere. Being the captain of the ship was an exciting and delightful experience for someone like me who has never been on a ship. The pirates had us stranded on our own ship, and the crew—who are already like family—got closer still. In addition, the group of people creating the series spent several months in South Africa as a family. Long and difficult days at sea, on a massive but claustrophobic vessel. Lootere was this meeting of the extremes, and Jai Mehta—the true captain—was the reason it all worked out, he said. "

Nike shares fall 8% as shoemaker anticipates drop in sales

Nike's stock plunged by almost 8% on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) during early trading on Friday following the company's announcement that it anticipates a decline in sales during the first half. This projection comes as Nike shifts focus from older styles to more fashionable sneakers in its competitive battle for market dominance against emerging brands. "What we heard on this quarterly call was that the merchandise margin recovery was coming slower largely due to management actions (reducing core product lines) and that sales through 1H25 would remain in negative territory," Barclays analyst Adrienne Yih, was quoted as saying by Reuters The brokerage Barclays slashed its price target by 20% to $114, marking the most significant adjustment on Wall Street following the latest results. Investors were particularly attentive to executives' remarks, highlighting Nike's prolonged direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategy's failure to spur growth as anticipated. Consequently, the leading sportswear manufacturer is pivoting its focus towards revitalizing relationships with its wholesale partners. "Nike's distribution strategy is all over the place. Problem is customers want to buy Nike everywhere so reducing wholesale dramatically seems like the wrong move in hindsight," Jefferies analyst Randal Konik was quoted as saying. The company's direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives have been hindered by slow demand in North America. Lululemon Athletica, a competitor, reported a decline in annual revenue and profit due to decreased demand primarily in the same region, leading to a 14% drop in its shares on Thursday. Over the past year, Nike's stock has depreciated by 16% in value. Nike's forward price-to-earnings ratio, a standard measure for assessing stock value, stands at 24.84. In comparison, Adidas and Puma boast forward price-to-earnings ratios of 52.08 and 15.31, respectively.

BJP MP Dilip Ghosh courts controversy with identify her own father jibe against Mamata Banerjee, TMC fumes

BJP MP Dilip Ghosh has courted controversy with his offensive remarks against West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee. Ghosh, in a personal attack, asked Banerjee to ‘identify her own father’.In a video that went viral, Ghosh is seen saying that ‘didi’ calls herself the daughter of whichever state she visits. When Didi (CM Mamata Banerjee) goes to Goa, she calls herself daughter of Goa. When she goes to Tripura, she says that she is the daughter of Tripura. She should first identify her own father," he said. TMC has filed a complaint with the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer against Ghosh for "passing derogatory and offensive comment personally attacking Mamata Banerjee, thereby violating Model Code of Conduct (MCC)" To this, the TMC said that Ghosh has ‘zero respect for women of Bengal’ and called him a disgrace ‘in the name of political leadership’. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the office handle of Trinamool Congress posted the video of  Ghosh and wrote: “Dilip Ghosh is a disgrace in the name of political leadership! From challenging the lineage of Maa Durga to now questioning the ancestry of Smt. Mamata Banerjee, he has wallowed in the filthiest depths of moral bankruptcy." “One thing is crystal clear: Ghosh has ZERO RESPECT for the women of Bengal, whether it be the revered goddess of Hinduism or the only woman Chief Minister of India," the post added.Dilip Ghosh is frustrated. The kind of statements that he has made against Mamata Banerjee - that she should first give an identity of her father - has never before been heard against a woman in this country," she said. Dev also contested that the ‘kind of statements’ that the BJP is making against the West Bengal CM, is against the politics and traditions of India. “For the past two days, the leaders of BJP have been giving long speeches against the insult of one of their women candidates. But the kind of statements BJP is issuing against the only woman CM of this country is against the politics and traditions of this country. BJP is frustrated in Bengal. It is losing. The more the BJP insults Mamata Banerjee, the more people will be with her." Slamming Ghosh for his remarks against Banerjee, the TMC leader claimed that his  ‘filthy thinking’ is that of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). “I would like to tell Dilip Ghosh that we know where this filthy thinking of yours against women comes from. This is RSS' thinking - that which is against women..." She also called the National Commission for Women (NCW) ‘hypocrite’ for being silent when the BJP insults Mamata Banerjee.  "The respect that the people of Bengal give Mamata Didi, she is considered the daughter of the country. You are insulting her again and again, and you get a befitting reply of this in 2024. I would like to tell the BJP leaders and NCW chief - you are so concerned about the woman candidate of BJP but people like you should be ashamed that whenever Mamata Didi is insulted by the BJP, you stay silent. This is your hypocrisy. Country would give you a reply for the same."

48% of “entitled” MPLAD funds in Gujarat remained unutilised between 2019-24, says ADR

About 48 per cent of the total ₹442 crore that were to be spent as MPLAD funds in Gujarat between 2019 and 2024, remained “unutilised”, stated Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). “The Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) Scheme was started in December 1993. Between 2019 and 2024, the Covid pandemic had caused the scheme to be frozen for 1.5 years. Each MP was entitled to spend ₹17 crore instead of ₹25 crore in their respective constituencies. Thus the total entitled amount was ₹442 crore for the 26 MPs in Gujarat,” Pankti Jog, the state coordinator for Gujarat told businessline. All the 26 seats in the State belong to the BJP. “However, the 26 MPs together recommended works worth ₹354 crore, of which ₹269 crore worth of works were sanctioned and ₹220 crore funds were released by the Government of India. This allocated amount of ₹220 crore is just 49.77 per cent of the total entitled amount of the MPs. If MPs do not recommend work, then the government will not allocate more funds. The onus of recommending works within their constituency lies with the MP,” she said. The 26 BJP MPs incurred an expenditure of ₹230 crore (including interest) which is about 52 per cent of the entitled amount of ₹442 crore. Despite just ₹220 crore being released, the MPs failed to spend ₹31 crore which is about 13.5 per cent of the funds released by the government. According to the data shared by ADR, Union home minister Amit Shah’s constituency of Gandhinagar had the highest unspent balance of ₹3.54 crore, followed by Vinod Chavda of Kutch ( ₹2.35 crore of unspent balance), Devusinh Chauhan of Kheda ( ₹2.35 crore) Poonamben Madam of Jamnagar ( ₹2.19 crore) and Bharattsinji Dabhi of Patan ( ₹2.01 crore). “Each MP could have easily used ₹17 crore during these five years. However, they have spent less than this amount,” Jog said. Of the total sanctioned works in Gujarat, the highest –₹114.81 crore – has been spent on railways, roads, pathways and bridges. And ₹71.32 crore on “other public facilities.”

Entering your 30s Here are some exercises to keep you feeling your best

"Through the implementation of five fundamental exercises, you may counteract the inevitable changes that accompany your 30s and welcome a decade of vigor, strength, and wellbeing. It's common to view reaching your 30s as a turning point in both your physical and mental well-being. Subtle changes can occur in your body's metabolism, hormone levels, and general fitness, even though you might not notice them right away. But do not worry! In your 30s and beyond, exercise can be your hidden weapon for maintaining strength, health, and a positive self-image. The importance of exercising in your 30s. According to national-level bodybuilder and personal trainer Rahul Tarfe, men's testosterone levels tend to drop as they approach their 30s. Loss of muscle and a decrease in bone density may result from this. Work out works as a superhero here, increasing testosterone, strengthening bone density, and even serving as a tool to prevent aging,"" he said in a conversation with IndianExpress.com. Estrogen levels drop during menopause in women, which affects bone density and raises the risk of several malignancies. According to Tarfe, exercise is your knight in shining armor since it increases metabolism, strengthens bones, and keeps you feeling young and energized. Three must-try exercises It's important to include a well-rounded training regimen in your fitness regimen, regardless of gender. This is what Rahul suggested: 1. Cardio: Aim for 150 minutes or more per week of moderate to strenuous cardio exercise. Walking quickly, jogging, swimming, dancing, or any other activity that raises your heart rate and keeps you moving for 30 minutes, at least twice or three times a week, could be included in this. 2. Strength Training: Set aside three to four days a week for 45 to 60 minutes a session of strength training. This enhances bone density, promotes the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, and supports general strength and function. Weightlifting exercises, lunges, push-ups, rows, and squats are excellent choices. 3. Flexibility: Remember to take a break! After every workout, stretching for ten minutes increases range of motion, lessens discomfort in the muscles, and guards against injury. The secret is to be consistent! Maintaining a regular exercise schedule will improve your health and wellbeing, even if it's only for 30 minutes a few times a week. Seek individual advice from a physician or skilled fitness professional, and be sure you're utilizing correct form to prevent harm. "

Arjun Rampal If I have to look extremely good, then my go-to is Gabriella’

"The radiant and perfect complexion of Janhvi Kapoor has been unveiled, and the secret to her lovely skin is a homemade face mask. Kapoor bragged about the many health advantages of this concoction, which is made of honey, mashed bananas, curd, orange scrub, and almond oil. Dr. Aanchal Panth shared her thoughts on this celebrity-endorsed skincare product, as social media was ablaze with claims of its efficacy. Let's investigate if giving it a shot is worthwhile. Kapoor began by taking curd and placing it in a bowl with mashed bananas, honey, and an additional layer of malai. After thoroughly blending, she smeared it across her freshly washed face. She then squeezed an orange, rubbed the juice of the fruit over her face, and covered it with the mask. Following the removal of the mask, she applied almond oil beneath her eyes. Dr. Panth elucidated the effectiveness of the mask by pointing out that although it is moisturizing, putting orange directly on the skin is not advised. "This is a good mask that will help with moisturizing, especially if you have dry skin."" She noted that scrubbing orange juice on the face can be extremely irritating to the skin, but that as she used the malai of the curd, the thicker part of it will be even more moisturizing. It may make your skin more vulnerable to UV radiation, particularly if you have dark patches or sensitive skin. Completely avoid this, she continued. Regarding the almond oil, Dr. Panth clarified that it can be used  as well as over the entire face, particularly in light of the damage caused by the orange; it serves as a beneficial moisturizer. The ingredients are broken down as follows: Dear Honey: Being a naturally occurring humectant, it helps the skin stay hydrated and becomes smooth and silky. Additionally, it has antibacterial qualities that enable it to effectively combat bacteria that cause acne and reduce inflammation. Bananas: Potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin E are among the many vitamins and minerals they contain that are rich in and help to hydrate and nourish the skin. Banana enzymes gently exfoliate the skin to reveal a brighter complexion by removing dead cells Lactic acid, which is present in curd, acts as a mild exfoliator to encourage cell turnover and reveal younger-looking skin. It also helps reduce redness and irritation and has moisturizing qualities. Orange: Natural acids found in citrus fruits, such as oranges, can irritate delicate skin, particularly when applied topically. It contains substances that may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight, raising the possibility of sunburn and other injury. To lessen the chance of discomfort, dilute orange juice or zest with water or combine it with other calming components before applying it directly to the skin. Almond oil: High in fatty acids and vitamin E, it nourishes and moisturizes the skin, leaving it feeling silky and smooth. It also aids in scar fading. "

Greatness of Virat Kohli Has Been Reduced": Harbhajan Singhs Huge IPL 2024 Warning

The MA Chidambaram Stadium in this city continues to be a peak that the Royal Challengers Bangalore hitter has yet to reach for the relentless run machine that is Virat Kohli. Kohli has amassed 7263 runs from 237 matches, seven hundreds, and a strike average of 130, setting him apart from the other players in the IPL. However, at the Chepauk, where he averages just thirty and has a strike-rate of eleven1, that dominance wanes. In light of this, former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh stated that Kohli must put up a stronger effort when RCB takes on the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings in the opening IPL game of the season on March 22 at the Chepauk. In terms of his overall performance at that location, Virat's greatness has diminished. It's a challenging place to bat, particularly when you're the opening batsman up against a strange bounce similar to a tennis ball. The legendary Ravindra Jadeja bowls stump to stump for them (CSK). He's going to turn the oddball, then make it stay low. It's quite difficult," Harbhajan stated to Star Sports. In fact, Harbhajan stated that Kohli will need to find a way to bat longer because the star batsman has been out of the game three times in his last five innings against CSK due to Power Plays.A match-winning performance is possible if he is truly ready to bat for roughly 20 overs, as two hundreds at the easily accessible Chinnaswamy do not always translate to the same at Chepauk "said the man. Kohli has a mediocre record against the Super Kings and has yet to score an IPL century at Chepauk. In 30 games, the 35-year-old has amassed 985 runs against CSK, with a career-high of 90.The former CSK player Harbhajan stated that in order for RCB to have a genuine chance of winning the elusive IPL title, Kohli needed to get back to his 2016 form. "It is crucial that he has a season similar to 2016 because the team will advance if Virat continues to score runs. I'm not sure if they'll end up winning the cup. "But I think they have a lot of good batting because of the brilliant players they have on the team, including Virat, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, and a few others like Patidar. and everybody hopes Virat can repeat his success from 2016," he continued.

Gautam Gambhirs Serious Pre-IPL 2024 Message To KKR

Before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, which begins on March 22, Kolkata Knight Riders coach Gautam Gambhir had a direct message for his team. During a Star Sports conversation, Gambhir clarified that the Indian Premier League (IPL) is a fantastic chance for young players to demonstrate their abilities in the "toughest league in the world," not about Bollywood or the post-match celebrations. The former Indian batter, who captained KKR to the IPL title in 2012 and 2014, added that since the league is most similar to international cricket, there is extra pressure on players and teams to perform well. "I stated unequivocally on Day 1 that I take the Indian Premier League seriously. It has nothing to do with Bollywood, you, the after-party, or other such things. It's about getting out there and playing competitive cricket, which is why I think this league is the hardest in the world because it's authentic cricket," stated Gambhir. "It is probably closest to international cricket as compared to any other league and if you want to be known as a successful franchise, you should be able to deliver on the cricket field," he stated. Gambhir stated that the players must put in a lot of effort for the team's ardent fan base after KKR finished seventh in the previous season and missed out on the play-offs. "I believe there are ardent supporters. We must tell them the truth. We should probably try to put a smile on their faces because, in my opinion, Kolkata fans have been the most devoted because they have endured a lot over the first three IPL seasons," Gambhir remarked.

Arvind Kejriwal arrested ahead of Lok Sabha, assembly elections: 5 key challenges before AAP in Delhi

The arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has prompted many to demand his resignation from the post. Kejriwal is also the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) national convenor. His arrest in connection with the money laundering case linked to the excise policy has already raised questions about the party's next leadership. Now, if he steps down as the chief minister, the crisis will grip Delhi's governance as well. Although AAP leaders say that there will be "no problems in running the (Delhi) government from jail," legal experts beg to differ. Moreover, the Lok Sabha elections 2024 are around the corner. The AAP will be contesting the polls in alliance with the Congress in Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, Chandigarh and Goa. Kejriwal's party is also part of the Opposition's INDIA bloc.AAP leader Sandeep Pathak has said he doesn't think there'll be any difficulty in running the government from jail. However, Sunil Gupta, a former law officer from Delhi's Tihar jail, told NDTV that running a government from jail is not that easy. He said a chief minister has to attend several meetings with officers and governors and has to visit people at times. However, "the jail manual says that a prisoner can meet his family, friends or anyone just twice a week", he said. This makes the process difficult. Keeping this situation in view, Gupta suggested an easier way to run the government while remaining in custody/jail. Citing jail rules, he said that any area can be declared a jail. It can be a house or even a stadium. The power is in the hands of the Lieutenant Governor (Vinai Kumar Saxena) to declare any building a jail. Now, the question is — will the authorities allow this to happen? VK Saxena and Kejriwal's government have been at loggerheads on several occasions. It was VK Saxena who recommended a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the Delhi government's excise policy. He had also called for a CBI probe into alleged irregularities involving fake lab tests and 'ghost patients' at Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics (AAMCs). The demand for Kejriwal's resignation as the chief minister has grown ever since he was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate. In case Kejriwal steps down as the CM, the hunt for the next CM will commence. All the key leaders of the AAP — Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain — are currently in jail in connection with the excise policy case.

A systematic effort is underway by the Prime Minister to cripple the Indian National Congress financially : Sonia Gandhi

Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi on March 21 accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making systematic efforts to cripple the grand-old-party financially, ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Funds collected by the Congress party from the public are being frozen and money from the party's bank accounts is being taken away forcibly, she said. “This issue affects not just Congress, it impacts our democracy itself most fundamentally. A systematic effort is underway by the Prime Minister to cripple the Indian National Congress financially," Sonia Gandhi said during a press conference in New Delhi. She was flanked by Congress President Malikarjun Kharge and former Congress President Rahul Gandhi too. Sonia Gandhi was referring to the Congress party's allegation that last month the Income Tax Department had frozen ₹ 115 crore in its bank accounts. Earlier this month, the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal refused to take up the Congress party's petition to stop the IT department's action against its bank accounts. The seven-phase Lok Sabha Elections will begin on April 19. The results will be declared on June 4. The Rae Bareli member of parliament said that even under the most challenging circumstances, the Congress party was doing its best to maintain the effectiveness of the election campaign. "On one hand, there is the Electoral Bond issue which has been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Electoral Bonds benefitted the BJP hugely. On the other hand, the finances of the principal opposition party - the INC - are under a determined assault. This, we all believe, is unprecedented and undemocratic," Sonia said.Earlier this month, Election Commission of India released the State Bank of India-provided data on political donations made by companies and individuals through now-scrapped bonds. The first tranche of data was released two days before the poll panel announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 scheduled to begin on April 19. Unsurprisingly, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) received the lion’s share of funds - ₹ 6,986.5 crore.
